2015
Juliette and Damian worked in a tiny office together for 6 years (2014-2019) for a small nonprofit organization called BAAY — Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth. We often wore hats and pointed at stuff.
2016

2017
Damian visits Hawaii for the first time and meets some of Juliette’s closest people. Also, tandem bikes and circus show photo booths.
2018
Still working at BAAY together! Juliette is determined to be Damian’s backpack.
2019
Another Hawaii visit.
2020
Covid. Lots of downtime together. Damian hones his craft as a tap dancer (and one time dressed as a toilet for Halloween to entertain the kids in his zoom class).
2021
Damian surprises Juliette with a Valentine’s Day serenade in the snow. Our friend Pace played the trumpet for us. Damian really wants her to learn the trumpet again (Juliette played for one year in high school and he becomes obsessed with the idea).
2022
Lots of dancing. Sometimes with masks on.
2023
Juliette surprises Damian with a trumpet serenade. She took lessons for a month and achieved an almost unrecognizable rendition of the “L-o-v-e” song.
2024
